Si Te Baijiu Beverage is an exemplary packaging design that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities, created by designers Wen Liu and Yong Deng. This sophisticated beverage packaging, measuring 165mm in length, 135mm in width, and 320mm in height, showcases an intricate design philosophy centered around the ancient Chinese Baoxiang Flower pattern, one of the auspicious three treasures symbolizing immortality and prosperity. The design's distinctive features include an embossed treasured flower pattern, a label inspired by the traditional Chinese Ruyi mascot, and a seal-shaped element that draws inspiration from Chinese dragons and the Great Wall. The packaging's material composition demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship, utilizing special paper and silk cloth with a sophisticated weaving process on the front, while the product name is prominently displayed on an elegant metal card. The ceramic bottle features a distinctive roasted flower decoration, further emphasizing its premium nature. The design's oriental characteristics are thoughtfully expressed through bold color choices and modern interpretations of traditional elements, creating a fresh and contemporary Chinese aesthetic while maintaining cultural authenticity. This innovative packaging design, which was completed between May and July 2018 in Shenzhen, received recognition for its excellence with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its significant contribution to advancing the boundaries of packaging design through its blend of cultural heritage and modern sophistication.
