This 80-square-meter store space represents a unique convergence of educational aesthetics and contemporary retail design, transforming a worn-down retail space into an engaging sneaker boutique through the imaginative repurposing of vintage school furniture and gymnasium equipment. The design concept ingeniously draws inspiration from traditional classroom environments, incorporating authentic school desks bearing original markings as display platforms for classic sneakers, while gymnasium climbing frames are reimagined as flexible wall-mounted display systems. The interior's distinctive character is enhanced through the strategic integration of chemistry class flasks as cap displays in the skateboarding section, creating a multilayered shopping experience that resonates with both historical context and modern retail requirements. This innovative approach to retail design, which earned the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional resourcefulness in working within budget constraints while delivering a highly memorable and functional retail environment.
