Shiny Dental Center

Shiny Dental Center

Shiny Dental Center is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes the traditional concept of dental clinics through its futuristic and technologically advanced approach. Completed in 2017 in New Cairo, Egypt, this 800-square-meter facility exemplifies a paradigm shift in healthcare interior design through its flowing spatial language and sophisticated material palette. The design, conceived by architect Ayman Ahmed Ramdan and team, employs a distinctive aesthetic philosophy centered on continuity and reflection, utilizing black tempered glass, Corian material, and flexible LED lighting systems to create a seamless, spacecraft-like environment. The interior's sophisticated design language is expressed through the seamless integration of flooring with custom-designed sofas, enhanced by an intricate lighting scheme that combines direct and indirect illumination. The project's material composition includes 500 square meters of vinyl flooring, 1000 square meters of wooden panels, and 300 meters of flexible LED lighting, all carefully orchestrated to achieve a harmonious spatial flow. The patient experience is elevated through thoughtful amenities including USB charging stations, integrated cup holders, and premium refreshment facilities, transforming the conventional dental clinic visit into a luxurious, spa-like experience. The design's excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to healthcare facility design, particularly its successful integration of advanced technology with patient comfort and operational efficiency.
