Shanxiao Sales Pavilion Sales Office is an architecturally distinctive commercial structure located in Nanshan, Chongqing, that exemplifies the harmonious integration of modern design with traditional Chinese cultural elements. This Gold A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2019, masterfully embodies the concept of 'hidden in nature' through its innovative design approach and sophisticated architectural elements. The structure, measuring 19,800mm in width and depth, with a height of 12,400mm, features a remarkable facade system that employs perforated plates as louvers, drawing inspiration from the cloud formations of Nanshan. The building's exterior is characterized by floating perforated leaves surrounding the curtain wall, creating an effect reminiscent of a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The integration of glass curtain walls with gradual mist effects and the strategically designed perforated louvers creates an illusion of the building floating among clouds. The design incorporates daily fog-generating devices that enhance the ethereal quality of the structure, transforming it beyond mere architecture into a cultural statement. The sales office, while comprising a smaller portion of the overall project, demonstrates exquisite attention to detail and reflects the elegant, introverted character that has become synonymous with Nanshan's architectural identity.
