Shacheng Laojiao Packaging is an innovative beverage packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design aesthetics. The design features a sophisticated dual-color bottle system, utilizing red and yellow variations that pay homage to significant historical periods - the yellow drawing inspiration from the Yongzheng period's yellow glaze of the Qing Dynasty, while the red references the distinctive Langyao red from the Kangxi period. The packaging system, measuring 320mm x 285mm x 110mm, incorporates intricate illustrations depicting natural and ecological brewing characteristics, with white gold thread detailing on the red bottles emphasizing the craftsmanship and brewing process. The design's ingenious opening mechanism reveals an illustration display board that reinforces the cultural narrative, while sculptural landscape patterns adorn the bottle cap, creating a multi-layered visual experience. The vertical arrangement of traditional characters in the bottle's center, combined with strategically placed informational elements and local cultural motifs including Jiming Mountain, Dajingmen, Gongting Lake, the Great Wall, Zhangbei Grassland, and Feihu Valley, creates a compelling visual narrative that earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its excellence in combining cultural heritage with modern packaging innovation.
