Sensation In Luxury Duplex Show Flat

Sensation In Luxury Duplex Show Flat

Sensation in Luxury Duplex show flat is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary luxury living, spanning an impressive 5,057 square feet across two levels. Conceived by designers Alain Wong and Cargi Mak, this sophisticated dwelling draws inspiration from verdant mountain scenery, employing a thoughtful composition of light-colored wood, natural stone, and glass elements to create a harmonious living environment. The design's distinctive features include full-height wooden stripe walls that extend from the ground floor to the top level, creating a visual continuity that emphasizes spatial connection. The interior architecture incorporates state-of-the-art home automation systems for enhanced living efficiency, allowing residents to control lighting, air conditioning, and window treatments through mobile applications. The design's material palette showcases a refined selection of light-colored marble flooring, wood veneers, and steel-framed glass panels, which work in concert to achieve a warm yet minimal modern aesthetic. Notable spatial elements include a curved hidden storage room on the second floor, uniquely designed bedrooms with individual character treatments, and a master suite featuring grey mirrors that reflect exterior greenery while expanding visual space. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its functional layout, with dedicated spaces including a family room on the first floor and a lounge area on the upper level, all connected by an elegant glass-handled staircase that serves as both a functional element and an architectural statement.
