Seemless Form Hair Salon is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies contemporary spatial design through its sophisticated integration of form, light, and functionality. Located in Taipei and completed in 2017, this 190-square-meter establishment represents a groundbreaking approach to salon design, where curved walls serve both aesthetic and practical purposes. The design's distinctive feature lies in its masterful manipulation of natural light, which reflects off curved surfaces to create an intuitive wayfinding system while maintaining spatial fluidity. The interior architecture employs a thoughtful combination of premium materials including acrylic, marble, brass, and timber, orchestrated to achieve a seamless blend of functionality and elegance. The space is meticulously sectioned into specialized zones, including main cutting areas, hair-washing stations, and storage spaces, all integrated within the flowing design language. A notable design element is the culminating water scene with a vertical garden, symbolizing the origins of life and providing a profound experiential dimension to the space. The project, designed by Jacksam Yang and Kuo Shih Hao, demonstrates exceptional expertise in spatial organization and material application, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing interior design standards through its innovative approach to commercial space planning.
