Sedia Stellare (o Del Piccolo Principe) Sit Comfortably And Contemplate

Sedia Stellare (o del Piccolo Principe) Sit comfortably and contemplate is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies the intersection of artistic expression and functional seating, created by Italian designer Stefania Vola between 2011-2012. This distinguished piece, which earned the Golden A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, represents a sophisticated interpretation of a contemplative throne, specifically designed for poetic thinkers and stargazers. The design draws inspiration from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince, incorporating elements that evoke celestial exploration and philosophical reflection. Crafted from cherry wood, natural leather, and brushed steel, the chair's dimensions of 850mm width, 1500mm depth, and 1600mm height create an imposing yet inviting presence. The design philosophy seamlessly blends regal elements with simplicity, featuring harmoniously integrated soft lines and warm materials that unconsciously evoke reassuring archetypal forms. This limited edition piece is particularly suited for specialized environments such as wine cellars, reading rooms, and wine bars, where its unique combination of majesty and grace enhances contemplative experiences. The chair's innovative design, which is protected by patent, creates a distinct spatial experience that transcends ordinary seating furniture, offering users a dedicated space for meditation, wine tasting, and intellectual pursuit. Its artistic merit lies in its ability to introduce a poetic dimension into everyday life, creating a purposeful pause in routine activities while maintaining functional comfort.
