ScrubYa Soap Range
ScrubYa Soap Range is an innovative children's hygiene product that revolutionizes the traditional approach to hand washing by combining functional design with interactive elements to promote better hygiene habits among young users. This thoughtfully designed soap collection, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids and Children's Products Design category, integrates soft silicone bristles within the soap structure, effectively merging the functionalities of soap and loofah into a single, engaging product. The design's distinguishing feature lies in its ability to reveal hidden animal patterns through regular use, transforming a routine hygiene practice into an exciting sensory experience for children. Measuring 110mm x 75mm x 30mm, each soap piece conceals distinctive animal stripes and spots that gradually emerge during use, creating an element of surprise and maintaining children's interest in hand washing. The integrated silicone bristles serve multiple purposes: they provide gentle yet effective scrubbing action suitable for children's delicate skin, ensure proper cleaning technique, and continue to function as a standalone scrubber once the soap portion is depleted. This design innovation addresses the fundamental challenge of encouraging proper hand washing habits among children, acknowledging that traditional soap products often fail to maintain children's engagement with hygiene practices. The product emerged from comprehensive research in children's health and personal hygiene, specifically targeting the recommended 20-second hand washing duration that many children find tedious. By incorporating playful elements and educational value through animal-themed patterns, the design successfully transforms a mundane daily routine into an engaging activity that promotes learning while ensuring effective cleaning.
