SCE Funworld Show Flat Residential House

SCE Funworld Show Flat Residential House

SCE Funworld Show Flat Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project located in Zhumadian, Henan Province, China, that masterfully demonstrates the harmonious fusion of contemporary minimalism with traditional Oriental elements. This 125-square-meter show flat, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a sophisticated approach to modern living spaces through its thoughtful integration of clean lines, distinctive materials, and carefully curated color palettes. The design philosophy centers on creating an understated luxurious environment that provides respite from urban life while maintaining functionality and aesthetic excellence. The living space features a spacious living room with embedded TV background wall and extended sofa arrangement, complemented by traditional Chinese elements such as bonsai and tea art installations that create a contemplative atmosphere. The dining area showcases a textured marble table that exemplifies understated luxury, while the master bedroom employs a calming palette of grey, white, and camel tones, enhanced by a practical bay window design. The project's attention to detail extends to the specialized rooms, including an elegantly appointed elders' room with peaceful blue geometric elements and a vibrant children's room featuring playful blue and white hues. Completed in December 2020, this residential design successfully addresses the challenges of modern urban living by creating a space that balances luxury with practicality, incorporating natural elements and artistic expressions while maintaining a strong connection to both contemporary and traditional design sensibilities.
