Savour Barber's Shop Barber, Hairstyle is an innovative interior design project that redefines the contemporary hairstyling space through its distinctive architectural approach and artistic vision. Located in Dongguan, Guangdong, this 1,200-square-meter establishment exemplifies the intersection of fashion, minimalism, and functional design, completed in 2015 under the creative direction of designer Donglei Wang and team. The space's conceptual foundation rests on the philosophy that fashion emerges from individual personality rather than mass trends, manifested through an artistic interpretation that draws inspiration from minimalist sculptor Richard Serra's curved line aesthetics. The interior design employs a sophisticated material palette including baking finish plate, wood finishing, white jade, black steel, and artistic glass, creating a harmonious blend of textures and surfaces that elevate the traditional barbershop experience. The project's architectural language emphasizes unusual, unique, and impressive elements that challenge conventional retail design paradigms, while maintaining practical functionality for its primary purpose as a hairstyling venue. This innovative approach to spatial design earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, recognizing its excellence in combining aesthetic appeal with functional design principles.
