Satellite Grater

Satellite Grater is an innovative kitchen utensil that revolutionizes the traditional concept of food grating through its expandable, multi-functional design. This sophisticated culinary tool features a compact form factor that houses multiple interchangeable stainless steel grater plates, enabling various grating and shredding options to accommodate different culinary needs. Designed by Dr. Hakan Gürsu and the Designnobis team, this versatile kitchen implement stands out for its unique expanding mechanism that transforms from a space-efficient storage state to a fully functional grater with wings that securely clip onto bowls and plates. The design's ergonomic considerations are evident in its silicone topper, which provides comfortable grip during use, while the washable stainless steel plates ensure optimal hygiene standards. The product's innovative approach to kitchen utility earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, recognizing its contribution to contemporary kitchen solutions. The design's emphasis on space efficiency makes it particularly suitable for modern kitchens where storage is at a premium, while its availability in various colors adds an element of personalization and aesthetic appeal.
