Ruyi Mansion Sales Center

Ruyi Mansion Sales Center is an innovative interior architectural project completed in 2020, exemplifying a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary design principles. Located in Jiangsu, China, this 715.2-square-meter space demonstrates sophisticated spatial organization inspired by the historic Lake Chenghu and local architectural elements of Zhou village's characteristic white walls and black tiles. The design, conceived by Junnan Jin, masterfully integrates the thematic elements of the renowned Kun opera Peony Pavilion, particularly through its visitor circulation route which is divided into two distinct sections: Youyuan and Jingmeng. The center's distinctive features include a radial chandelier that creates an illusion of infinite vertical space, complemented by crystal brick walls that generate sophisticated pixel-like patterns, offering different visual experiences from varying distances. The project's innovative approach to space creation incorporates multi-dimensional perspectives, utilizing modern lighting techniques and geometric abstractions to represent the fluid nature of Lake Chenghu's waterscape. The interior design seamlessly connects outdoor and indoor spaces through thoughtful material selection and arrangement, featuring a sophisticated interplay between crystal brick walls representing distant views and stone garden elements depicting closer perspectives. This sales center, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, stands out for its successful integration of local cultural heritage with contemporary spatial design, creating an environment that prioritizes user experience while maintaining architectural sophistication. The project's emphasis on integrality and extensibility, combined with its innovative use of materials and lighting, establishes a new paradigm in commercial space design that moves beyond mere aesthetic appeal to create meaningful spatial narratives.
