Run Science Park Guangzhou
Run Science Park Guangzhou is an innovative architectural development located within Guangzhou Science City, representing a pioneering approach to modern industrial park design that seamlessly integrates smart architecture principles with ecological considerations. Conceived and designed by architect Frankie Lui and team, this 120,000-square-meter complex reimagines traditional industrial park concepts by establishing a highly connected, multi-functional environment that promotes technological advancement and community interaction. The architectural design incorporates three distinct functional zones: exhibition spaces, office areas, and flexible-use spaces, with a strategic allocation of 75% for offices, 5% for exhibitions, 5% for flexible usage, and 15% for complex spaces. The project's distinctive features include its lifting structure design, interlocking forms, and a sunken plaza that maximizes natural light penetration to underground levels. Utilizing materials such as glass and aluminum panels, the facade design reflects the harmonious fusion of technological innovation and ecological sustainability. The development, completed in January 2020, creates a sophisticated ecosystem for knowledge exchange and collaborative innovation, particularly serving internet and animation industries. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in creating a smart architectural environment that fosters both professional development and quality of life enhancement. Its design philosophy emphasizes open communication platforms, intelligent design integration, and work-life balance, establishing a new paradigm for modern industrial park development.
