Roundooze Chickpea Snack Packaging is an innovative packaging design solution that exemplifies the harmonious integration of functionality, transparency, and emotional engagement in contemporary food packaging design. Created by Lithuanian designer Salvita Bingelyte, this distinctive packaging system encompasses eight variants for different flavored roasted chickpea snacks, utilizing a sophisticated color-coding scheme where sweet varieties are presented against black backgrounds and savory options feature gray backgrounds. The design's most notable characteristic is its ingenious incorporation of die-cut windows shaped like eyes and a mouth, creating an engaging smiley face character that allows consumers to view the product before purchase while simultaneously establishing an emotional connection. This thoughtful approach to packaging design, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to visual communication through its minimalist typography, strategic use of color, and clever integration of brand elements.
