This Silver A' Design Award-winning creation, designed by Zhenyi Chen and Baijie Huang, represents a significant departure from traditional furniture culture while maintaining functional elegance. The design features a distinctive combination of materials including wood, leather, and metal, utilizing traditional tenon structures enhanced with metal reinforcements at key joints to ensure structural stability. With dimensions of 750mm in width, 520mm in depth, and 800mm in height, this piece demonstrates a thoughtful balance between form and function. The design philosophy deliberately deconstructs the formal conventions associated with traditional armchairs, which historically symbolized social status and demanded specific posture protocols, instead offering users the freedom to adopt various sitting positions according to their preferences.
