Rongqiao Kindergarten Kindergarten is an innovative educational facility interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of playful aesthetics and functional learning spaces. Located in Fuzhou City, Fujian province, this 3,042-square-meter interior space transformation project was conceived with inspiration drawn from rainbows and bubbles, creating a vibrant and engaging environment for early childhood education. The design features a distinctive three-floor layout with a central atrium, incorporating curved architectural elements and varied ceiling heights that range from 3.3 to 3.6 meters. The project's innovative approach to space utilization includes the strategic remodeling of an existing structure, where the original three-floor corridor atrium was transformed into an outer ring corridor, with classrooms thoughtfully arranged around a new central atrium. A notable architectural feature is the 8-meter span curved bridge on the second floor, which serves both practical circulation needs and creates an engaging multi-functional interactive space. The design emphasizes child-centric elements through the implementation of circular windows, creating an underwater-bubble aesthetic that stimulates imagination and creativity. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, demonstrates exceptional consideration for safety, utilizing E0 class ecological materials and maintaining B1 fire ratings throughout. The space incorporates sophisticated environmental teaching principles while maintaining rigorous safety standards, featuring thoughtfully designed elements that cater to children aged 0-5 years, including specialized ergonomics, health considerations, and psychological care aspects in its implementation.
