Reverse Sunclock Multifunctional Wall Lamp is an innovative lighting design that masterfully integrates the concepts of time and illumination into a sophisticated wall-mounted fixture. This groundbreaking design, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, features a distinctive discus form comprising a brass wreath that elegantly holds fiberglass and brass brise soleil semicircles. The lamp's unique functionality is demonstrated through its gradual illumination pattern, where six segments of fiberglass in the upper half systematically light off in correspondence with hourly intervals, creating a dynamic interplay between light and shadow. The sophisticated mechanism includes a rotating feature that turns the discus 180 degrees every six hours, operating on a continuous cycle from 9 AM to 3 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM. The technical composition incorporates six LED strips positioned between two 3mm thick fiberglass pieces, while an additional LED strip, protected by plexiglass, illuminates the brass bars of the lower semicircle. The design's dimensions are precisely calculated with a 150mm radius discus and 20mm thickness, mounted on a slim base measuring 162.5mm in width and 400mm in length. The innovative timing mechanism is concealed within a brass back base, which houses the necessary adapters and control systems for the lamp's sophisticated rotation and illumination sequences. This architectural lighting solution exemplifies the harmonious marriage of form and function, offering both practical illumination and an artistic interpretation of time's passage through the creative use of direct and indirect lighting effects.
