Return to Innocence Office is an award-winning architectural and interior design project that exemplifies minimalist elegance and functional sophistication in contemporary workplace design. Located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, this 200-square-meter office space, completed in 2017, showcases a remarkable integration of modern aesthetics with practical workspace solutions across three distinct levels. The building's exterior features a striking façade adorned with metal sheets and glass curtains, creating an immediate visual impact that reflects its contemporary design philosophy. The spatial organization demonstrates a thoughtful vertical hierarchy, with the ground floor housing a sophisticated reception area highlighted by Italian marble finishes and artisanal hand-painted wall features. The second floor incorporates an innovative elevated indoor walkway that connects the meeting areas with an external staff break room, while the third floor accommodates the main working area. The design, conceived by Syuan-Ta Chiu, emphasizes authenticity through the use of plain materials and stereoscopic spatial features, creating an environment that balances professional functionality with aesthetic refinement. Notable design elements include a wood and glass exhibition cabinet displaying design accolades, elegant seating arrangements, and a book wall that adds intellectual gravitas to the meeting area.
