Regala Skycity Hotel

Regala Skycity Hotel

Regala Skycity Hotel is an architecturally distinctive hospitality establishment situated in the SKYCITY development of Hong Kong International Airport, exemplifying contemporary architectural innovation through its crystal prism-inspired design that harmoniously reflects the fluidity of flight paths. The structure, completed in 2021, features a sophisticated tripartite division with a dynamic base, sleek shaft, and an edgeless crown, all unified by an advanced unitized curtain wall system that creates a seamless, reflective exterior. Standing at 46 meters in height with dimensions of 99 meters width and 64 meters depth, this architectural marvel houses 1,208 guest rooms, making it one of Hong Kong's largest hotels. The building's design masterfully maximizes its triangular site through innovative space planning, incorporating sustainable features and modern amenities including a centrally located swimming pool, a rooftop Sky Deck with a jogging track and fitness center, and three distinctively designed restaurants each offering unique culinary experiences. The hotel's interior design philosophy embraces the concept of one space planning, creating fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces while offering expansive views of the airport runway. The project, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in combining functional efficiency with aesthetic excellence, featuring innovative use of materials and sophisticated technological integration that sets new standards in airport hotel design.
