Reflections Impress Office
Reflections Impress Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies contemporary workplace architecture, distinguished by its sophisticated integration of technology and aesthetics. Located on the 12th floor of a commercial building in Taipei, this 694.2-square-meter office space, completed in March 2022, showcases a masterful blend of form and function through its distinctive use of red accents, translucent materials, and geometric elements. The design, created by Chia-Chien Yin, employs a maze-like layout that ingeniously addresses the challenges of western exposure and irregular spatial configurations while incorporating advanced access control systems. The interior features a striking reception area with a beveled counter, creating an immediate impression of professionalism and innovation. The space utilizes premium materials including glass, white baking lacquer, silver marble, and titanium-plated metal, harmoniously combined to create distinct zones for various workplace functions. Despite the limiting 2.3-meter ceiling height, the designer maximized vertical space through clever architectural solutions, including exposed pipes that complement the technological aesthetic. The office layout accommodates three distinct user groups - guests, staff, and management - through thoughtfully designed lounges and workspaces, while maintaining security through sophisticated access control systems. The project's sophisticated color scheme, dominated by the corporate red accent color and complemented by neutral tones, creates a dynamic yet professional atmosphere that reflects the software engineering industry's forward-thinking nature. This exceptional design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to workplace design innovation.
