Redefine Home Residence Design

Redefine Home Residence Design

Redefine Home Residence Design is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies contemporary spatial optimization and multifunctional living concepts. Created by designer Wei-Chih Chang, this 105.79-square-meter apartment transformation demonstrates sophisticated space planning through the strategic reduction of corridor areas and the implementation of mixed-use open spaces. The design's cornerstone features include the seamless integration of living and dining areas, complemented by a distinctive floating frame structure that ingeniously combines a study desk and bar counter. The project employs a refined material palette, featuring aluminum LED strip light bars, Italian Spiver decorative paint, and system furniture, all orchestrated within a sophisticated white and gray color scheme accented by warm wood elements. The design's architectural intervention notably addresses modern living challenges through thoughtful storage solutions and the creation of flexible activity zones, while maintaining visual minimalism. The project's innovative approach to spatial organization is particularly evident in its treatment of public areas, where geometric wooden shelves and precisely engineered structural elements contribute to a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetics. This design, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional attention to construction detail, particularly in the execution of the large-span composite desk and decorative frames, ultimately delivering a contemporary living environment that successfully merges practicality with sophisticated design sensibilities.
