Rebirth Cosmetics Packaging is an innovative cosmetics container design that draws inspiration from Egyptian mythology, specifically the deity Anubis, creating a distinctive departure from conventional cosmetic packaging aesthetics. The design, created by Chen Shen-Fu and Chuang Pei-Yun, features a striking pure black transparent glass bottle with a uniquely sculpted cap resembling Anubis's canine-headed figure, challenging traditional mild and fresh-looking cosmetic packaging paradigms. The 30ml capacity vessel stands 119mm tall with a maximum width of 69mm, incorporating sophisticated production techniques including special-printing with decal paper for the motifs and illustrative texts. The transparent black glass body creates compelling light and shadow effects, while the plastic cap's flow characteristics enable intricate detail rendering. This avant-garde design, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a deliberate break from conventional cosmetic packaging design philosophy, emphasizing that the exterior appearance should convey strong aesthetic convictions alongside product functionality. The design's technical achievements include maintaining transparency within the black coloration and implementing complex silver motif applications through transfer printing and decal paper techniques.
