Reactivate Office Space

Reactivate Office Space

Reactivate Office Space is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the transformation of a 40-year-old building into a contemporary office environment while preserving its historical essence. This sophisticated renovation project, completed in 2017, demonstrates excellence in sustainable design practices and spatial optimization within a 118.8 square meter area. The design philosophy centers on simplifying complexity while maintaining the building's original character, achieved through careful material selection and thoughtful spatial configuration. The project employs environmentally conscious materials throughout, including recycled ore flooring with superior waterproof and scratch-resistant properties, and eco-friendly ink-printed wallpapers complemented by formaldehyde-free coating systems. The design strategy involved dismantling original compartments and introducing transparent elements and mirror planes to maximize spatial efficiency and create visual expansion. A notable feature is the preservation of original architectural elements such as red bricks, stone walls, and woodwork, which are harmoniously integrated with modern design elements beneath a pristine white aesthetic. The project successfully addresses the challenge of varying ceiling heights through standardization, facilitating both visual cohesion and practical utility. This exemplary work of interior architecture, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases how thoughtful design intervention can breathe new life into heritage structures while maintaining environmental responsibility and functional efficiency.
