Quiett Induction Cooktop
Quiett Induction Cooktop is an innovative modular cooking appliance that seamlessly integrates smart technology with contemporary cooking needs, designed by Seokhyun Park and Dosun Shin. This groundbreaking design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category, features a sophisticated streaming system that transforms the cooking experience through its intelligent interface and modular functionality. The primary unit comprises a single burner with an integrated touch screen that illuminates beneath its sleek surface, allowing users to cast their mobile device's screen via Bluetooth connectivity, effectively turning the cooktop into an interactive cookbook. The design's distinctive features include magnetic power transfer capabilities that enable multiple units to connect and function cohesively, with electricity flowing from the main board to auxiliary units. The system incorporates an advanced LED indicator system along its rounded edges that provides visual feedback of heat levels through color changes, enhancing both safety and user experience. Crafted with premium materials including soft aluminum base and black glass surface, this induction cooktop exemplifies energy efficiency while maintaining superior heating performance. The dimensions of 508mm x 330mm x 31mm make it particularly suitable for compact living spaces, while its minimalist aesthetic and modular design philosophy address the evolving needs of modern consumers, particularly students and urban dwellers seeking convenient, space-efficient cooking solutions. The development process, which took place at Arizona State University, focused on creating an accessible alternative to AI-integrated systems, resulting in a more cost-effective yet equally innovative solution through its streaming capabilities and user-centric design approach.
