Qingdao Guoxin Financial Center Hotel
Qingdao Guoxin Financial Center Hotel is a distinguished architectural and interior design achievement located in the core governmental and business district of Laoshan, Qingdao, encompassing 280,000 square meters of sophisticated space. The design, conceptualized by Xiao Liang and team in 2018-2021, introduces an innovative city living room concept that harmoniously blends modern aesthetics with humanistic elements. The exterior architecture draws inspiration from ocean ripples, featuring elegant curved lines that reflect the coastal character of Qingdao. The interior design demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its avant-garde approach, incorporating streamlined architectural elements throughout the space. The lobby showcases a contemporary design philosophy with distinctive folding ceiling elements, glass-screened columns, and fluid curved furnishings that create a rhythmic spatial experience. The banquet halls feature sophisticated fold-over ceiling designs and vertical striped wall treatments that maintain design continuity with the exterior architecture. The material palette comprises beige stone, artisanal wallpapers, specialized glass installations, custom carpeting, blue aluminum plating, and carefully selected fabrics, all working in concert to create an environment that emphasizes sustainability and human comfort. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in combining natural and artificial lighting solutions while maintaining superior acoustic properties. This sophisticated hospitality venue primarily serves government groups, conference attendees, and exhibition visitors, offering a unique blend of functionality and aesthetic excellence that sets new standards in contemporary hotel design.
