Qin Service Center Service Center is an innovative architectural interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements within commercial spaces. Located in New Taipei City, this 413-square-meter service center demonstrates a sophisticated interpretation of natural phenomena through its distinctive design elements. The project, conceived and executed by designers Chin-Feng Wu and Chih-Sheng Fan, masterfully translates the ethereal qualities of clouds and sound waves into tangible architectural features. In the reception area, the design incorporates overlapping wall-to-ceiling panels that create a cloud-wreathed effect against the stone wall, establishing a dynamic interplay of textures and colors. The meeting area showcases an innovative approach to spatial division through three-dimensional partitions inspired by sound wave patterns, featuring deliberately placed gaps in wooden walls that allow natural light to filter through, creating a warm and contemplative atmosphere. The material palette includes Italian grey marble, natural teakwood veneer with steel brushes, black cultured stone, and flame-resistant carpets, all carefully selected to enhance the sensory experience. The project, which was completed between January and April 2014, received recognition for its exceptional design approach, earning the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2015. This achievement acknowledges the project's success in transforming natural phenomena into functional design elements while maintaining a delicate balance between aesthetics and functionality.
