Pulse Pavilion Interactive Installation
Pulse Pavilion Interactive installation is a sophisticated multisensory art installation that seamlessly integrates light, sound, and visual elements to create an immersive experiential environment. Conceived and designed by Hungarian designer József Gergely Kiss, this innovative installation takes the form of a 3-meter cubic black exterior structure that houses a transformative interior cylindrical space where visitors encounter a carefully orchestrated interplay of RGB LED lighting, CMYK printed graphics, and synchronized audio compositions. The installation's core concept explores the fundamental relationship between sound waves and their visual representation, utilizing the interaction between RGB and CMYK color systems to create an analog animation effect without digital projections. The interior features meticulously designed anamorphic projections that respond to a precisely timed audio track, creating an illusion where visitors can seemingly see the sound while experiencing it. Drawing inspiration from Goethe's Theory of Colors and the works of notable artists in the field of light and space art, the pavilion employs a sophisticated technical approach where RGB LED lights act as color filters on CMYK-printed surfaces, resulting in a dynamic visual experience that changes as different spectrums of color are revealed and concealed. This groundbreaking work, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation in combining traditional graphic design principles with interactive spatial experiences. The installation's success lies in its ability to synchronize the rhythm of alternating colored lights with the pulsating soundtrack, creating a cohesive multisensory experience that challenges conventional boundaries between visual and auditory perception.
