Conceived and executed as a comprehensive office transformation project spanning 3,300 square meters across two floors, this design revolutionizes the traditional workplace paradigm by implementing a unique village concept that promotes interconnectivity and spontaneous interaction among different departments. The design features 130 workstations strategically arranged in distinct neighborhoods, each characterized by individual color schemes and bold graphic elements that facilitate intuitive navigation while maintaining team identity. A significant architectural intervention includes the installation of an open internal staircase, which required extensive structural and fire safety engineering considerations but proved crucial in achieving the project's collaborative objectives. The design incorporates custom-developed wall graphics inspired by electrical components, including a distinctive Trust wall composed of employee-contributed words and an artistic comic narrative depicting company history. The workplace design has demonstrated measurable success in enhancing cross-departmental communication, particularly between research and development teams and other units, while fostering an environment conducive to informal meetings and innovation. This exemplary project, completed in 2017, was awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to workplace design innovation and its successful implementation of human-centered design principles that effectively balance functional requirements with emotional and social needs.
