Private Pool Personal SPA Center

Private Pool Personal SPA Center

Private Pool Personal SPA Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of wellness facilities within a private setting, completed between 2013 and 2016 in Kiev, Ukraine. This sophisticated 850-square-meter facility, designed by architects Vitalii Dorokhov and Tatyana Dmytrenko, represents a thoughtful response to the modern urban dweller's need for personal wellness spaces, drawing inspiration from the traditional gardens of Guangzhou, China. The design seamlessly combines functional wellness amenities with aesthetic excellence, featuring an indoor swimming pool, dedicated areas for yoga practice, and seven specialized treatment rooms. The facility's distinctive architectural elements include moisture-resistant wood paneling, a unique fireplace adorned with stabilized moss and aged metal accents, and an acoustically optimized ribbed ceiling design that addresses the challenges of sound management in large spaces. The center incorporates multiple wellness zones including a sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation areas, and a media entertainment section, all designed to create a comprehensive personal spa experience. The project, which won the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully overcomes significant architectural challenges, particularly in achieving an impressive eight-meter span beam construction. The design philosophy emphasizes the connection between nature and modern comfort, utilizing sophisticated materials and innovative spatial solutions to create an environment that promotes physical and mental well-being while maintaining the highest standards of luxury and privacy.
