Prism Desktop Gaming Computer

Prism Desktop Gaming Computer

Prism Desktop Gaming Computer is an innovative high-performance gaming computer that revolutionizes the traditional desktop computer aesthetic through its distinctive crystalline design. Created by designer Han Xin and team in Shanghai between 2015 and 2016, this flagship gaming PC breaks away from conventional box-like computer cases by incorporating aggressive, sculptural forms inspired by crystal formations commonly found in fantasy gaming worlds. The design philosophy draws from gaming concept art, crystallized forms, and high-tech elements such as nuclear power cores and warp engines, resulting in a unique visual statement measuring 178mm in width, 444mm in depth, and 391mm in height. The computer's avant-garde design approach successfully merges professional gaming requirements with artistic expression, creating a powerful gaming machine that doubles as a statement piece. Developed specifically for professional gamers and e-sports enthusiasts, the Prism Desktop Gaming Computer embodies power, speed, and imagination through its innovative form factor. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing gaming computer aesthetics and functionality. This achievement highlights the project's success in combining high-performance computing capabilities with distinctive design elements that resonate with the gaming community's appreciation for fantasy-inspired aesthetics.
