Positive Negative Bar Counter is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of form and function in contemporary bar furniture design. Created by designers Xiaofei Cui and Yafei Ma, this sophisticated piece consists of dual bar counters complemented by an integrated wine rack system, demonstrating a thoughtful exploration of positive and negative spatial relationships. The design's distinctive feature lies in its crystalline structural base, crafted from precisely welded metallic triangular panels, while the top surface employs sustainable cork material for enhanced tactile experience and practicality. The counter's innovative functionality is evident in its integrated ice bucket system positioned around the base, allowing for convenient wine bottle storage and accessibility without compromising space efficiency. The structure's geometric complexity, requiring 42 triangular metal panels in its construction, prioritizes durability and longevity over production simplicity, reflecting a commitment to sustainable design principles.
