Pool Skimmer Diverter

Pool Skimmer Diverter

A pool skimmer diverter is a device that is used to regulate the flow of water in a swimming pool's skimmer system. The skimmer system is an essential part of a swimming pool's circulation system, as it helps to remove debris and other contaminants from the water. The skimmer diverter is typically installed in the skimmer basket and is designed to divert a portion of the water flow away from the skimmer and into the main drain. The purpose of the pool skimmer diverter is to help balance the water flow between the skimmer and the main drain. By diverting some of the water flow away from the skimmer, the diverter helps to prevent the skimmer from becoming overwhelmed with debris and clogging. This can help to improve the overall efficiency of the pool's circulation system and reduce the need for manual cleaning. There are several different types of pool skimmer diverters available on the market, including manual and automatic models. Manual diverters require the user to adjust the flow of water manually, while automatic diverters use sensors to detect changes in water flow and adjust the diverter accordingly. Some pool skimmer diverters are also designed to be adjustable, allowing the user to fine-tune the water flow as needed. Overall, a pool skimmer diverter is an essential component of any swimming pool's circulation system. By regulating the flow of water between the skimmer and the main drain, it helps to keep the pool clean and reduce the need for manual cleaning.
