Pony Pack Tea Packing is an innovative packaging design solution that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese tea culture with contemporary design sensibilities. The design's conceptual foundation draws from the historical evolution of tea product inheritance, uniquely expressed through the transformation of Chinese characters across different epochs. This sophisticated packaging system, created by designers Xiang Qian, Deng Zhehao, and Yao Wenliang, employs a distinctive approach by utilizing the pictographic and semantic qualities of Chinese characters to convey deeper cultural meanings. The design features carefully considered dimensions of 24.2cm x 15cm x 5.1cm for the box and 63cm x 10.5cm for the bag, incorporating advanced production techniques such as canvas slanting across the belt tea bag, rope tightening knot mechanisms, screen printing, bronzing, and convex texturing on simple textured paper. The design's aesthetic philosophy bridges the gap between traditional tea-making processes and modern scientific management, preserving essential cultural elements while introducing contemporary refinements. This sophisticated packaging solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, specifically targets discerning consumers aged 25-45 in the middle to high-end market segment, offering a collection-worthy gift packaging that embodies Oriental aesthetics and cultural significance.
