PONE Nest Aspiration Experience Pavilion
PONE Nest Aspiration Experience Pavilion is an innovative architectural installation that redefines traditional spatial boundaries through its unique honeycomb-inspired design. Created by Golden Ho and team, this groundbreaking exhibition space spans 108 square meters with dimensions of 9000mm x 12000mm x 5500mm, featuring four curved metal mesh structures that serve as the primary architectural framework. The pavilion's distinctive design incorporates 59,000 sheets of A4 black cardboard and 89,000 pieces of white wax paper, meticulously assembled into paper tubes and inserted into the curved metal mesh walls through a collaborative effort of 100 individuals. This interactive architectural piece deliberately challenges conventional spatial limitations by deconstructing traditional load-bearing wall concepts, resulting in an incomplete, negative, and non-linear wall composition. The installation's dynamic nature is enhanced through its black and white contrast, creating an elastic rhythm that responds to human interaction. Visitors engage with the structure through various behaviors, both static and dynamic, transforming the space into a living, breathing entity. The pavilion's innovative approach to spatial design earned it the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its exceptional contribution to redefining human connections within architectural spaces. The temperature of human contact imbues the paper elements with emotional qualities, manifesting in stretches and wrinkles that shape the overall experience, while the continuous interplay of light through paper holes creates a mesmerizing visual display that brings vitality to the exhibition space.
