Poem Of Life Residential Space

Poem Of Life Residential Space

Poem of Life Residential Space is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements and modern aesthetics within a compact living environment. Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this 36-ping residence masterfully combines two households into a cohesive space featuring four bedrooms and two living rooms, demonstrating exceptional space optimization and functional design principles. The design philosophy centers on creating a relaxing atmosphere through the thoughtful application of ivory and milk tea color palettes, complemented by natural wooden and stone elements that establish a connection with nature. The project's distinctive features include a carefully planned traffic flow that seamlessly connects the entryway to various living spaces, while maintaining spatial harmony through consistent material usage and tonal coordination. The designers employed innovative solutions such as embedded linear lighting systems, grey mirror display cabinets, and wooden elements to define different functional zones while maintaining visual continuity. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases remarkable attention to detail in its material selection, incorporating stone materials, natural wood veneers, imported wallpapers, and special paints to create a sophisticated living environment. The design successfully addresses the challenges of merging small residences by establishing clear traffic patterns and utilizing color psychology to differentiate functional areas, ultimately achieving a balance between aesthetic appeal and practical functionality.
