Playtech Bulgaria Functional Office Space

Playtech Bulgaria Functional Office Space

Playtech Bulgaria Functional office space is an innovative workplace design project that exemplifies contemporary office design principles through its data-driven approach and focus on team performance optimization. Created by interior designer Helen Koss, this sophisticated office environment demonstrates a thoughtful integration of activity-based working features, incorporating acoustic meeting booths, collaborative zones, and versatile lounge areas that serve as subtle spatial dividers within the open-plan layout. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases a remarkable transformation that maximizes natural light and panoramic views of Sofia and its surrounding mountains through its 360-degree perspective. The space's design philosophy emphasizes team collaboration while maintaining privacy through strategically placed acoustic solutions, including specialized furniture and panels throughout the environment. Notable features include a bespoke reception desk, technologically advanced meeting rooms equipped with wireless presentation systems and room reservation displays, and recreational areas furnished with entertainment options such as billiard and foosball tables. The project's execution was particularly noteworthy for its phased renovation approach, which allowed continuous business operations during the six-month transformation period. Drawing inspiration from Bulgaria's natural landscapes, including its snow-capped mountains and diverse flora, the design successfully integrates modern corporate standards with local cultural elements, creating a progressive and functional workplace that enhances team collaboration and employee wellbeing.
