Place Of Light Residential Villas

Place Of Light Residential Villas

Place of Light Residential villas is an innovative architectural masterpiece that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural light and living spaces through its distinctive five-storey design. Located in Beijing, China, this residential project completed in June 2017 represents a departure from conventional luxury housing concepts by prioritizing authentic living experiences over stylistic imitation. The villa's most remarkable feature is its 17-meter-high central patio, designed specifically for light casting, which serves as the core area for creating memorable light experiences throughout the structure. The thoughtfully planned layout encompasses underground levels dedicated to owner preferences, while the ground floor features front and rear courtyards that maximize the building's natural resources. The second and third storeys are devoted to family living spaces, with carefully considered parent-child activity areas and master bedroom arrangements. The design's sophisticated approach to space utilization is particularly evident in the negative second storey, which features a 7-meter-high and 9-meter-wide LED screen integrated into a multifunctional space that can serve as a tea room, cigar room, or wine tasting area. The project, which earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to the interplay between natural light, spatial dynamics, and functional living requirements, setting new standards in residential architecture through its innovative use of light as a primary design element.
