Philips Lighting China HQ Office is an award-winning corporate headquarters interior design project completed in 2018, encompassing 9,771 square meters of sophisticated workspace in Shanghai. The innovative design solution centers around a remarkable semi-transparent illuminated glass installation that serves as both a functional screen wall and an artistic statement, seamlessly integrating advanced lighting technology that synchronizes with natural outdoor conditions. Designed by Ben Goh and Jane Chen of BNJN Design, the project masterfully addresses the spatial challenges of an asymmetrical entrance hall through the implementation of a transformative screen wall that conceals functional areas while creating a visually striking first impression. The design incorporates a distinctive dotted luminous ceiling featuring an artistic gradient pattern of varying-sized illuminated points that complement the glass wall installation, creating a cohesive and dynamic environment.
