Phenom Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of functionality, sustainability, and employee well-being in contemporary workplace design. This meticulously crafted 480-square-meter office space, completed in 2017, represents a sophisticated transformation of a two-storey building into a three-level working environment through intelligent structural modifications. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional space optimization through its thoughtful layout and material selection. The project's distinctive features include a rectangular hollow section connecting multiple floors to counteract height limitations, strategically positioned indoor landscapes, and carefully considered natural light management through a 3-meter inward-shifted western entrance. The interior employs a minimalist material palette comprising bare plywood, aluminum, natural wood oil, and oak board, with custom-designed furniture including stainless steel pendant lamps, office desks, and material sample shelves. The ground floor houses client interaction spaces with western-style kitchen amenities, while the upper levels accommodate working areas and rest spaces. Notable design solutions include the preservation of the original concrete ceiling, environmentally conscious material choices, and the implementation of innovative lighting strategies to address challenges posed by western sun exposure. The project demonstrates exceptional cost-efficiency while maintaining high design standards, creating an environment that promotes both productivity and personal well-being through its thoughtful integration of natural elements and functional spaces.
