Created in December 2023, this elegant storage solution draws inspiration from modernist principles while incorporating retrospective elements, featuring a distinctive aesthetic that merges functionality with artistic expression. The sideboard's design narrative centers around the concept of a sophisticated storage vessel, elevated by high-quality leather workmanship and sleek metallic legs that harmoniously complement its wooden construction. Standing at 76 centimeters in height, 240 centimeters in width, and 55 centimeters in depth, the piece offers a substantial 500-liter internal volume while maintaining a visually lightweight appearance through its elevated stance. Distinguished by its symmetrical leather-clad cabinet doors and side walls, the design employs an innovative touch-open mechanism that eliminates the need for conventional handles, instead featuring specially shaped leather elements integrated seamlessly into the surfaces. The sideboard's construction utilizes MDF with precise wood cutting and painting techniques, complemented by laser-cut metal components that undergo meticulous polishing and titanium plating processes. This piece, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, demonstrates exceptional versatility in interior applications, particularly excelling in dining room settings where its upper surface serves as an elegant display platform while providing ample storage below.
