Patroa Lounge Chair And Ottoman

Patroa Lounge Chair And Ottoman

Patroa Lounge Chair and Ottoman is a sophisticated furniture ensemble that exemplifies contemporary Brazilian design excellence, combining aesthetic refinement with functional comfort. Created in 2015, this distinctive seating solution features a harmonious blend of industrial materials and luxurious finishes, employing an innovative metal calendering method in its construction, complemented by high-quality polyester painting and premium leather upholstery with molded foam underlayment. The design's name, derived from Portuguese, meaning house wife or boss, reflects its commanding presence in any interior space while maintaining a clean, light aesthetic despite its substantial construction. The chair and ottoman set, which garnered recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, showcases exceptional attention to detail in its execution, featuring carefully considered proportions measuring 3100mm in length, 1000mm in width, and 1100mm in height. The design philosophy behind this piece emphasizes the seamless integration of conceptual sophistication with commercial viability, making it particularly suitable for contemporary living spaces. Its structural composition demonstrates a masterful balance between visual lightness and physical durability, while the thoughtful combination of materials - metal framework, molded foam core, and leather finishing - creates a compelling interplay of textures and surfaces that enhances both its aesthetic appeal and ergonomic comfort.
