Developed through extensive research and craftsmanship, this sophisticated organizational tool combines functionality with aesthetic excellence, featuring three distinct sets of paper collections: recycled, colored, and white papers, each meticulously curated to facilitate efficient material selection. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, showcases exceptional technical sophistication through its implementation of multiple printing techniques, including offset printing with Pantone colors, screen printing, hot foil stamping, blind embossing, and precision die-cutting. The system's physical dimensions (185mm x 48mm x 250mm when closed, extending to 415mm when open) are carefully considered to optimize usability, while its eight-card visual booklet (180mm x 245mm) serves as an inspirational guide demonstrating various printing and finishing possibilities. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and textures of Central and South American aesthetics, the design seamlessly integrates functional organization with artistic presentation. The project, completed between April and December 2022, required extensive material testing and development of specialized dies and multi-level matrices to accommodate various fiber types, particularly natural materials such as hemp, grass, and cotton. The innovative design addresses the complex challenge of combining practical paper sampling with comprehensive technical information, while maintaining an engaging visual narrative that serves as both a reference tool and a source of creative inspiration for design professionals.
