This sophisticated communication design piece consists of a set of four cards unified by an actual paper clip, which serves both as a physical binding mechanism and as the primary inspiration for the typography and visual elements. The design, created in 2018, demonstrates exceptional ingenuity in its conceptual approach by transforming the simple form of a paper clip into a comprehensive design language that spans both Chinese and English typefaces. The cards, measuring 15cm x 21cm x 0.5cm, are produced using premium cardboard and metallic ink printing techniques to enhance their tactile and visual appeal. The design's significance lies in its metaphorical representation of a touring exhibition that traversed nine cities over nine years, with the paper clip symbolizing the journey's continuous nature and connectivity. This innovative approach to invitation design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category for its creative excellence and technical execution.
