PACO Operation Hub Office

PACO Operation Hub Office

PACO Operation Hub Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies efficient space utilization and contemporary workplace design principles, located in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. This sophisticated office environment, designed by Philip Tse and Hung Kwok, transforms a 1,600-square-foot space with a 4.3-meter-high ceiling into a multifunctional 3,000-square-foot workspace through ingenious architectural solutions. The design's most notable achievement is its clever resolution of structural challenges posed by substantial ceiling beams, incorporating them into a dynamic double-deck layout that creates six distinct operational zones connected by strategically placed staircases. The interior aesthetic combines contemporary luxury with functional pragmatism, featuring natural materials such as wood and stone, complemented by water elements that create a harmonious atmosphere. The space includes a thoughtfully designed lobby area that sets a professional yet welcoming tone for visitors, while a comprehensive staff relaxation area offers amenities including entertainment options, reading spaces, and recreational facilities. This Iron A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional space optimization in a dense urban environment, while maintaining a focus on employee well-being and operational efficiency. The design successfully balances professional functionality with personal comfort, incorporating both practical workspaces and leisure areas, making it a notable example of modern office design that prioritizes both spatial efficiency and human-centric workplace solutions.
