Overview Scene Interior Design
Overview Scene Interior Design is an exemplary residential interior design project completed in Taipei, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates modern aesthetics with traditional elements to create a harmonious living environment. The design, which earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates sophisticated spatial planning through its deliberate use of penetrative elements and partially open layouts that establish visual connections throughout the space. The project, conceived and executed between September 2013 and June 2014, showcases an innovative approach to ambient lighting, utilizing natural light penetration to create dynamic interactions between interior and exterior environments. The design philosophy emphasizes the creation of expansive, open spaces that promote relaxation while incorporating artistic elements that enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Notable features include a thoughtfully designed entertainment area with a statement long dining table for social gatherings, dedicated spaces for music and film appreciation, and carefully curated display areas that serve both functional and memorial purposes. The material palette combines sophisticated elements including stone, metal steel, glass, plating titanium, stainless steel, veneer, and PANDOMO, creating a rich textural experience throughout the space. The design's unique approach to spatial flow creates distinct yet interconnected areas that support various lifestyle activities while maintaining visual coherence. This award-winning project exemplifies how interior design can effectively balance aesthetic sophistication with practical functionality, creating spaces that evolve with daily light patterns and facilitate meaningful life experiences.
