This 62,000-square-meter shopping complex, designed by Shen Junwei, revolutionizes the traditional shopping center concept by incorporating a unique nest in woods design philosophy that creates intimate, nature-inspired spaces within its commercial environment. The architectural composition seamlessly connects three distinct buildings through an intricate network of nest-like spaces, offering visitors a diverse range of lifestyle experiences while maintaining a cohesive design narrative. The project, completed in April 2019, employs a sophisticated material palette including brick, stone, wood-aluminum board, and stainless steel to achieve its distinctive aesthetic. The design's most notable feature is its creation of peaceful urban retreats, where carefully crafted spaces encourage social interaction, quiet contemplation, and various activities ranging from casual meetings to focused work sessions. This innovative approach to retail architecture earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its exceptional contribution to commercial space design.
