Opulent 30 Residential Penthouse

Opulent 30 Residential Penthouse

Opulent 30 Residential Penthouse is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the evolution of contemporary Malaysian luxury living through its sophisticated fusion of modern oriental aesthetics and local cultural elements. This 3,600-square-foot penthouse, completed in 2018, showcases an innovative approach to spatial design through its unique open floor plan and thoughtful integration of opulent materials, including natural marble and brushed stainless steel finishes. The design philosophy centers on creating distinct character zones within interconnected spaces, unified through consistent design elements, finishes, and ambient lighting. The project's distinctive features include carefully curated animal motifs, reflecting the client's personal interests while moving beyond traditional Chinese zodiac representations, and a sophisticated color palette informed by feng shui principles. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through its incorporation of textured plaster wall finishes, colored mirrors, and strategically placed ambient lighting within built-in elements. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category represents a significant achievement in contemporary Malaysian design, successfully bridging the gap between traditional Asian aesthetics and modern luxury living. The penthouse, comprising 4+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, exemplifies how cultural identity can be reimagined through interior design, utilizing local craftsmanship and materials to create spaces that resonate with second and third-generation Malaysian Chinese sensibilities while meeting international design standards.
