One More Faucet

One More Faucet

One More Faucet is an innovative dual-spout kitchen faucet design that revolutionizes the traditional approach to kitchen water fixtures through its space-efficient and user-centric design philosophy. Created by Iranian designer Mitra Mohammad Hosseini Sisakht, this sophisticated fixture addresses the common challenge of limited space in modern kitchens while enabling multiple users to access water simultaneously. The design, inspired by the practical efficiency of paper clips, features two independently operating spouts that can be rotated and adjusted in height to accommodate various user needs. Its advanced technological integration includes touchless operation through sensors located on top of each spout, allowing for hygienic hands-free activation and deactivation of water flow. A central touch screen display monitors and shows water consumption data for both spouts, promoting water conservation awareness and usage management. The faucet's construction employs high-quality materials, with brass spouts and ABS plastic sprayers, manufactured using sophisticated techniques including pipe bending, hydroforming, CNC lathe work, and soldering. With dimensions of 19 cm in width, 4.5 cm in depth, and 35 cm in height, the design optimizes space utility while maintaining full functionality. The faucet incorporates modern conveniences such as independent temperature control for each spout, emergency battery backup, and the ability to disable individual spouts when not needed. This innovative design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Kitchen Furniture, Equipment and Fixtures Design category, acknowledging its contribution to practical kitchen solutions and sustainable design practices.
