This contemporary seating ensemble, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, features a distinctive curved comfort design achieved through a patent-pending manufacturing process that utilizes an outer foam mold and an inner foam core structure. The design eliminates traditional heavy wood or steel frame construction in favor of a complete polyurethane foam structure, resulting in superior comfort and ergonomic benefits similar to those found in memory foam mattresses. The chair stands at 889mm in height and 914mm in width, with a seat height of 432mm, while the accompanying ottoman measures 482mm in height and 686mm in width. The upholstery combines two distinct fabric choices: a polyester twill in orange and a corn lattice pattern blend of polyester and spandex in grey, both selected to complement the conforming properties of the memory foam. This innovative approach to furniture design, developed through extensive research including clinical sleep studies on pressure relief properties, demonstrates a successful translation of memory foam technology from mattresses to furniture.
